For more information please contact ip [at] ogc.org (subject: OGC%20Testbed-16%20Information)

The OGC Testbed is an annual research and development program that explores geospatial technology from various angles. It takes the OGC Baseline into account, though at the same time allows to explore selected aspects with a fresh pair of eyes.

Testbed-16 evaluates the maturity of the Earth Observation Cloud Architecture that has been developed over the last two years as part of various OGC Innovation Program (IP) initiatives in a real world environment. The testbed also explores new levels of interoperable geospatial data processing in the areas of Earth Observation Application Packages with Jupyter Notebooks, Data Access and Processing API for Geospatial Data, Discrete Global Grid System, Aviation, Machine Learning, Full Motion Video to Moving Features, Analysis Ready Data, Data Centric Security, Federated Security, GeoPackage, and, OpenAPI.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION is now closed: HTML version, PDF version.

The physical Kickoff Workshop was replaced with a virtual Kickoff Workshop, a series of online meetings in early April.

OGC members wishing to observe any of the testbed activities should join the Testbed-16 Portal Project by clicking through this Observer Agreement.
