OGC Statement on Misrepresentation in Japan

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) has recently become aware of claims and a website (ogcjapan.org) that suggest a formal relationship between OGC and the entity few4c.com, led by Mr. Eduardo Fukui.

To clarify:

• OGC has no formal or informal relationship with Mr. Eduardo Fukui or few4c.com.
• OGC has not authorized any entity to act as an “OGC Japan Secretariat” or to represent OGC in Japan.
• Any such claims are misleading and unauthorized.

OGC exists to serve its members. Maintaining their trust, upholding our reputation, and ensuring OGC remains a reliable, neutral, and transparent community are fundamental to who we are. Misrepresentation undermines these principles, and we are taking action to address this matter swiftly.
