Join OGC at FedGeoDay as we share Geospatial tools for Disaster Readiness through an interactive workshop, update the location community ongoing Iniatitives in Climate Change and Disaster Resilience, and the show value of interoperable technologies and open information.
FedGeoDay is THE event devoted to “open geospatial ecosystems” (open source software, open/collaborative mapping, open science challenges and open engagements) that are used to initiate and grow capabilities across the U.S. federal government. This year we are back in person, and will be bringing together federal program managers, technology leaders, industry partners, NGOs, and many others to share ideas, learn, and network.
Join leaders from NASA, NGA, NOAA, USGS, NSA, Department of the Interior, Census Bureau, the Department of the Defense, and many other agencies, as well as top technology firms and NGOs at FedGeoDay and learn how the open geospatial ecosystems can contribute to your work.
November 3, 1:00pm to 5:00pm: Keynote and panel discussions by leading experts. Attendance is free to .gov, .mil, and .edu registrants.
November 3, 9:00am – 12:00pm workshops include training opportunities on leading open source technologies and a workshop by the US Census Open Innovation Lab (COIL). Registration required for specific sessions (some sessions may have a minimal fee).
November 3, 5:30pm 7:30pm – Networking reception.
