5th Pan-Canadian Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) Summit
This Winter, the 5th Pan-Canadian Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) Summit will be held virtually on December 2-3, 2020. This event is open to all and is meant to foster knowledge sharing, best practices and innovation on spatial data infrastructures. This includes all matters related to data access, discoverability and interoperability.
This year’s summit is jointly organized by the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG), the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and the Government of the Northwest Territories. The theme of this year’s SDI Summit is Responding to Needs of Northern and Remote Communities.
The event will be attended by geomatics experts and data users from the four corners of Canada and beyond. Representatives from federal, provincial and territorial governments, municipal and academic communities, and private industry will come together to attend the summit, exchange information, and discuss and present the evolution and future prospects of their geospatial data infrastructures.
