Caroline Robinson is the Strategic Opportunities Manager of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). She engages with various organisations encouraging communication with the OGC's strategic vision for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) via open consensus-based standards, collaborative innovation projects, and industry partnerships. She has been in defence, planning and the environmental geospatial sectors prior to working with OGC.
Caroline brings her professionalism and industry knowledge to the OGC. She remains Senior Editor of Maplines membership magazine, for the British Cartographic Society. She actively supports Women In Geospatial+, the online spatial community. She is a member and Middle Manager with the Chartered Management Institute. Caroline is a Fellow and Chartered Geographer with the Royal Geographical Society. She has a keen interest in sustainability, resilience and supporting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
