OGC Lifetime Achievement Award
About the award
The OGC Lifetime Achievement award is a silver medallion presented by the Board of Directors of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) to an individual who has made exemplary contributions to the OGC's consensus standards process. The first OGC Lifetime Achievement Award was granted to Charles Roswell in July 2007, and Terry Fisher received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
OGC Lifetime Achievement Awards may be awarded to others in the future, but it is not anticipated that this will be done annually.
